She was born October 15, 1950. She will be forever remembered for her determination, courage, fighting spirit and friendship. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She overcame great obstacles from her birth and early youth in beautiful northern Manitoba .To her pioneering endeavors as a nurse, health care giver, guidance counselor, translator, social worker and advocate for First Nation causes. Her greatest strength was for her family, Gareth, Jocelyn, Stefanie and Andrew along with grandchildren, Kodi, Kayla and Dakota, who will forever cherish her memory along with relatives in Thompson and Gods Lake Narrows. I would like to send my condolences to Virginia's family. I had the honour of crossing paths with Virginia while working as a summer student a couple of years back. I had the opportunity to work with a strong and amazing woman. - Posted by: Renata M (Co-Worker) on: Sep 29, 2005
